Parkinson’s Day function held at Lourdes Hospital, Cochin.

On World Parkinson’s Day of 2015 (April 11), a public awareness function was held at Lourdes Hospital, Cochin. Dr Sreeram Prasad, Head, Dpt of Neurology and Movement Disorders Specialist, gave a public awareness speech on Parkinson’s Disease in malayalam. Arch Bishop, Father Mar Chrisostum was the chief guest of the function. This was followed by a free medical camp for patientes with parkinsonism.

Purple Day function held at Lourdes Hospital, Cochin.

An epilepsy awareness function was held at Lourdes Hospital, Cochin on March 29, 2015 in association with World Purple Day (epilepsy awareness day) under the leadership of Dr Sreeram Prasad, Head, Dpt of Neurology. Mr Vijay Yesudas, renowned playback singer was the chief guest of the function.

A Comprehensive Care Centre for Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders was inaugurated at Lourdes Hospital, Cochin on April 11, 2014, the first of its kind in central Kerala. Dr Sreeram Prasad, Head, Dpt of Neurology and Movement Disorders Specialist, gave a public awareness speech on Parkinson’s Disease in malayalam. Mr Marcose, renowned playback singer was the chief guest of the function. This was followed by a free medical camp for patientes with parkinsonism.
